A Custom Item Token is for one custom look. A Custom Item Set Token is for a matching custom set. Both trade. You cannot click the token to get the look.
No Redeem option The token only has Drop. There is no Keep, Redeem, or Morph. Open a ticket. Staff take the token and give you the finished custom.
How it works
- Have the token on the account.
- Open a ticket. Name the cosmetic you want to start from, and the colours.
- The look has to start from a cosmetic. A combat unique is not used as the base, even if you only want the look.
- Staff take the token and give you the finished custom.
- The look is already dyed. It trades unless staff said that one is bound.
How to get one
The token is not a credit store listing. Players trade them, including on the Grand Exchange.
The store’s Overall Track is lifetime spend. It never resets. When you hit a step, that reward goes to your bank. Some of those steps are these tokens.
The Reward Track tab is a timed window. It is not the Overall Track.
A Cosmetic mystery box or a Regal Mystery Box can also give a token. Those boxes are on the credit store.
Single or set
A Custom Item Token is one look: a cape, a scythe, a flag, a briefcase. A Custom Item Set Token is a matching outfit. One token is one request.
Trade
The token trades. Looks from a token trade unless staff said that one is bound. Older holiday-rare customs that came from a token also trade, including custom ankou, santas, hweens, and partyhats. They are not listed on this page.
What it is not
- Not the Recolour option on the Master completionist cape. That is on Recolourable items.
- Not a dye kit, and there is no NPC who dyes other items.
- Not a Rank transfer token or a World boost token.
- Not a staff gift. A custom without a token is a different path.

| Token | Used for | Tradeable | |

Candidate cosmetic bases
Staff draft Staff are still deciding which cosmetics can be dyed from a token. This is a working list for that, not a promise that every item here can be dyed.
The look has to start from a cosmetic that already exists. A combat unique is not used as the base, even as fashion.
Already used means staff have already dyed that base for a token look. Proposed is for staff to prune or add to.
Recolour on the Master completionist cape is a different system. That is on Recolourable items.
Token customs
A few dyed finishes from a token. The table above is the starting item, not every dyed name.
